The castle was built around 1528 from a medieval castle complex. Today, the Renaissance castle is a venue for concerts, exhibitions and seminars. You can also rent parts of the castle for your celebrations. Guided tours are also possible by arrangement.

The Forchtenstein bathing reservoir is fed by the Haidbach. It is located in the middle of "Paradise", as the side valley of the Rosalien Mountains is called. It is 15,000 m2 in size and scores points for its natural shade. Oases of peace and water fun are the best ways to describe the area. It is particularly popular with families as it has very shallow access. A diving tower and a water slide, beach volleyball court and playground for the little ones provide variety. Kobersdorf Castle was built around 1528 from a medieval castle. In 1683 the complex was taken by the Turks and partially destroyed. After years of decay, the castle was bought and renovated by an architect in 1963. Today it is owned by her daughter and can only be viewed during events. Like the other two weir systems, it was left to decay due to the roof tax and largely removed as building material. In the 1960s, it was repaired and partially rebuilt in the neo-romantic style using the walls that were still in ruins. After further deterioration, the new owner Markus Albero Grimmenstein has been restoring 90% of the facility himself since July 2014 without public funds/funds and has been opening it to the public since April 2016.
