The Hansenburg is not a medieval castle ruin, but a building in ruins. Like so many other romantic buildings around Lednice Castle, these artificial ruins were built according to designs by Josef Hardtmuth. The Hansenburg is extremely romantic in a river bend. You can even take excursion boats up the river from Lednice Castle right up to the Hansenburg. But the best thing is that the Hansenburg is freely accessible from the outside. So you can enjoy this very romantic place in the evening when it gets quiet again.
