The Stopfenreuther Arm is a near-natural side channel of the Danube in the Danube-Auen National Park east of Vienna. Beautiful castle! Unfortunately you have to take quite a detour to get to the courtyard.

Nicer from the outside than from the inside, but definitely a good place for kids.

On the castle island you don't need much luck to see pond turtles, grass snakes, ground squirrels and you can look into the storks' nests.
