A trip around Lake Ossiach is almost a must for cycling tourists and locals. The official cycle path leads around the lake and offers many refreshment stops and drinking water filling stations. A little off the cycle path you can cycle through villages and at the eastern outflow through a true nature reserve (former moor) on "white roads" (Strade Bianchi).

The idyllic Flatschacher See is only 5 minutes from Feldkirchen and yet is surrounded by nature. The popular recreational water is only 3.4 meters deep and therefore reaches temperatures of up to 27° C in summer. Not only because of the pleasant water temperatures, but also because of its wide range of activities, the Flatschacher See is a bathing paradise for families!

The Bleistätter Moor was once considered one of the largest moor areas in Carinthia, covering an area of around 600 hectares. In the early 1930s, construction of drainage systems for drainage began.

At the eastern end of Lake Ossiach is the small Prefelnigtich. Here you will find a trout station that has a special feature: if you want, you can catch your own fish. Bait and fishing rods are available free of charge. Children especially love this offer, although the fathers are also happy to lend a hand. Culinary delights are not neglected - landlady Eva-Maria Zussner serves trout in many variations.

Great bathing lake near Feldkirchen! Away from the big lakes and still beautiful. Clean water and free. There is even one or the other dish at the lake!
