The stop is worth it! Prices are okay. Very crowded in the afternoon in winter, it's best to stop by early in the morning. 👊👍

The Steinerhütte is the starting point for winter hikes on the Großer and Kleiner Sauofen. With the cozy hut you already have a great destination in mind, which you can head for at the end of the hike.

Very large parking lot as a starting point for a hike on the Saualpe and the transition to the Wolfsberger hut.

Very nice hut. I also liked the roast pork very much. But there were also other delicious dishes, including herb dumplings. The hut has 3 double rooms and a sleeping area for 15 people. The view is stunning and the terrace goes all around the hut, which is in an absolutely exposed location.
