The lake is a reservoir that blends beautifully into the mountains. It is probably primarily used for flood protection.

Beautifully situated mountain lake with small huts 🛖. Highly recommended is the Berghaus Erika, rustically furnished rooms and the toilet area as a shared toilet (2 showers and 2 toilets) was clean and brand new than in some hotels. We also had the 3-course menu for the evening, which was a dream.

There is a nice shady playground, several places to rest and grill and even something like a "natural paddling pool" and a toilet.
