The castle has belonged to the Order of Malta (formerly known as the Order of St. John) for almost 900 years. Very nice guest rooms and excellent food!

Lampelberk (German Lampelberg) is a vineyard house designed as a romantic castle in the Czech municipality of Vrbovec (Urbau) in the Okres Znojmo. It is located northeast of the extinct village of Ječmeniště (Gerstenfeld) in the vineyards of the “Lampelberg” location (Viniční trať) near the Austrian border. With a very beautiful viewing terrace!

Beautiful castle complex, but privately owned. Therefore, visits are normally not possible. Unfortunately, the property is also very overgrown in summer, so you can hardly catch a glimpse of it from the outside.
