Hardegg may be a small town, but it has a lot to offer. A large castle, the clock tower and a great panorama. A stop here is definitely worth it.

In its current form, it is a late Gothic church, built between 1338 and the first half of the 16th century. The church with a tower in Romanesque style was built at the beginning of the 12th century. After the fire that broke out in 1335 and destroyed a significant part of the church at that time, construction of a new church in Gothic style began in 1338, while the remains of the floor plan of the original tower were preserved.
