A swimming island, an extensive non-swimmer area, spacious sunbathing and play areas, a beach volleyball court, tennis courts and a children's playground provide variety.

Saint Hubertus, to whom this chapel is dedicated, lived from 655 to 727 and is a very popular saint, known above all as the patron saint of hunters. A stag with a shining cross between its antlers is said to have appeared to him, which is often depicted in portraits of Hubertus. This legend was originally attributed to Saint Eustace and over time 'migrated' to Hubertus. His memorial day in the calendar of saints is November 3rd.

A great hut with a pleasant atmosphere and very friendly staff.

The path to the Pettenfirsthütte (710m) is suitable for families and children. From Zell am Pettenfirst it goes up via the children's forest. The innkeepers at the hut are very friendly, the service is good, the cuisine is down-to-earth and the prices are quite reasonable. Opening hours: Open Tuesday-Sun in summer, Monday is a day off. In winter it is open Fri-Sun.

Wonderfully beautiful and well-groomed with food at the buffet!

ATTENTION: There are also riders on the entire routes and paths in Ampflwang. Please do NOT pass horses at full speed and drive around corners with foresight!

Nice hut, good snack, but unfortunately not a proper lunch. Between the trees there is a view towards the southwest - from Lake Mondsee to the Salzburg Untersberg, with the Berchtesgaden peaks in between.
