There's an incredible amount of entertainment for the little ones. From a pond with small boats to a water playground and adventure playground, to the longest barefoot path I've ever seen. For older children, there are mountain carts and scooters. Definitely worth a trip even in summer.

A great hut at 1834m that offers a very tasty Kaspresskndöel soup. It is even more fantastic to enjoy the food/drink on the terrace. The view of the Achensee and the mountains is breathtaking. You can also stay overnight at the hut. It offers mattress dormitories, shared rooms and twin rooms. The twin rooms are booked up very quickly, especially during the holidays. The hut is a perfect starting point for a variety of hikes and climbs in the Rofan Mountains. It is one of the few huts that is open in both winter and summer. Hello, we (a group of about 20 hiking friends) hiked from Hochfügen via the Rastkogelhütte to Melchboden. It's not an easy hike for the average experienced person! We had very good hiking weather. And yet the hiking trails have not been damaged by grazing cattle and the previous storms It was easy. You should also note the continuous climb, starting in Hochfügen up to a height of around 1950m. Only then does it go downhill again.

Here the children can play in a diverse area, while the parents take a break on the terrace or in the restaurant.
