The hut team is extremely friendly and very accommodating! The hut was newly renovated in 2021. Sleeping bags are not required, as a large/thick blanket is provided for each mattress; additional ones are stacked in the hallway for your convenience.

Ice-cold showers in front of a fantastic mountain backdrop! 🏔️ After the strenuous climb, the refreshing shower was the crowning conclusion of our mountain tour.

A truly fantastic hut.🏡 The rooms are clean and spacious, and the food is truly delicious. The climb to the hut from the Alpengasthaus Finkau isn't too difficult (short sections are secured with ropes). The easy climb to the Roßkopf peak is possible from the hut; it takes about two hours. Recommended for a day trip or a longer stay. 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

The Rastkogelhütte offers very tasty food and the hosts are very friendly. A rustic stop on the way.

Supposedly the most rustic alpine hut in the Zillertal. Also known as "'s Legal".

A really cozy hut. Super delicious food and super friendly wait staff. Numerous animals are also there. But the house dog is especially great.
