We had a comfortable stay in the small Larcher Alm. There are about 20 beds and a shower. Nice hosts!

Small petting zoo, ideal for a family outing.

The large wood-paneled dining room with the green tiled stove dating from the turn of the century invites you to linger. A collection of local songbooks is available to guests. Culinary delights include beer and shandy, Wiener schnitzel, Tyrolean cheese dumplings and warm apple strudel. The beds are divided into bunks so that you can enjoy a little privacy. There is enough storage space for luggage and clothes. From the large sun terrace you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Ötztal Alps.

The Larcher Alm is a highly recommended stop. In addition to delicious hearty dishes, there is also apple strudel and the homemade cake of the day. Very, very tasty. Even if it is not on the menu, there is good coffee on request. The prices are very fair and the couple who run the hut are the warmest and nicest on the entire crossing of the Alps. Great!

Beautiful hut, top-notch sanitary facilities, warm water at the sink, 1 minute shower costs 50 cents and the food is good too, if you're staying in the hut for several days the breakfast could be a bit more varied. Vodafone also has a great network in Italy. Rooms with sockets, but electricity is a bit scarce in the camp.

The Lacher Alm is a great place for a break. There is also a place to stop for refreshments while the alpine pastures are in operation.
