The Bürser Gorge was formed by the interplay of water and ice after the retreat of the glaciers about 10,000 years ago. The Alvierbach stream created a spectacular, almost jungle-like landscape with moss-covered rocks and a rich flora.

Great bike path above the nasty ravine. The surface is a bit rough, not ideal for city bikes.🥰

From here to Austria, rideable. From here to Liech, not worth hiking with the bike up or down. Regarless of the direction, you will walk.

A freight path goes up to the waterfall, the path from Steg through the Samina Gorge to the waterfall is really impressive in terms of landscape, a nice, challenging hiking trail, but really not suitable for bikes.
