Quick and worthwhile climb. The parking lot below is paid but is quite large.

The 1,506 meter high Fänärenspitz is the northernmost Swiss Alpine peak in the canton of Appenzell Innerrhoden. From the Gipferkreuz you have a wonderful view of the Appenzellerland.
