There's an inn here with a large panoramic restaurant and sun terrace. Along the road, there's a smaller building with a terrace.

Very, very nice landlords - you feel immediately welcome in this cozy alp! Service is at the table - we had a very delicious pancake soup and very fresh cheesecake. All this with a magnificent panorama and the best Widderstein view.

The hut is often open in winter and can be easily reached with snowshoes if the weather is good. The path through the high moor runs a lot on wooden planks, if you want to hike dry-footed, adequate "waterproof" footwear is recommended
