Super alpine pasture with a great mountain backdrop. The hut owner Sabine always has an open ear for her guests and is happy to take the time to do so! Easily accessible from the Baad hiking car park via two paths (valley and high trail), also great for families with strollers. 🫶

I stayed here when the cabin was on winter break. Good to know: there is a covered, wind-protected area in front of the entrance.

The Widdersteinhütte at 2,015 m offers delicious food and drinks and is a nice place to stop along the way.

Pretty place at the end of the Kleinwalsertal. From here hikes can be started in different directions. At the large car park, the Breitach arises from the confluence of the Bärguntbach, Derrabach and Turabach. The place is well connected to Oberstdorf by bus line 1.

As the last village in the Kleinwalsertal, Baad is the starting point for countless (mountain) hikes in all directions with its accommodation, cafes and restaurants. The Walserbus No. 1 takes you from here down the valley to Oberstdorf with many stops.
