Beautiful 360° panorama of Lake Wolfgang, Schafberg and Lake Attersee

From the front wall you have a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains and lakes of the Salzkammergut. The uncultivated Vormaueralm is also a visual highlight, where a snack on the green meadows is particularly worthwhile. The path to the Vormauerstein is mostly located in the forest and is not difficult; slipping is only prohibited on the last 50 meters and at the summit. All in all, a wonderful hike in the Salzkammergut, most beautiful in early autumn.

The hike to the Vormauerstein is one of the absolute highlights of the Schafberg area. From the summit you can enjoy a wonderful view over Lake Wolfgang, Attersee and the surrounding mountains that is second to none.

Great first summit with a view over the Attersee and the Mondsee. The ascent is a bit tedious and takes longer than the 2km would suggest. The ascent also includes a short via ferrata unit, which is rewarded with an incredible panorama over the Attersee region. You should also bring sure-footedness with you, as it includes some rock and root sections.

Super great KS with brilliant views over the Mondsee and the Salzkammergut. The most dangerous part of the KS is the descent, which leads unsecured through a fairly steep climb.

A great mountain hike with a great view of the surrounding lakes but unfortunately also very crowded. You can't really enjoy the view from the summit with about 80 other people on this relatively small summit cross plateau.

The hiker can expect a 360 degree panoramic view from the 1783 m high Schafberg. Best enjoyed in great weather
