The Grünberg is the local mountain of the residents of Gmunden and one of the most popular destinations around Lake Traunsee. After all, there are 20 kilometers of hiking trails and many other leisure opportunities to be discovered.
The Zwillingskogel is reachable from Grünau and the Hauergraben. From the Hauergraben the path 411 leads over the passage, but also a more direct, unmarked Jägersteig to the summit.
The Maisenkögerl, also known as the Moasenkögerl, is a mountain in the Upper Austrian Prealps in the municipality of Scharnstein. Its summit is at an altitude of 945 meters. So the Maisenkögerl is just barely a one-thousander.
