The Seethalerhütte on the Dachstein is located at 2,740 m, making it the highest mountain hut in Upper Austria. Surrounded by the eternal ice of the Dachstein glacier, the hut is located in a breathtaking setting and offers a wonderful view of the mountains all the way to the Großglockner. Delicious food, friendly service, great panoramic windows in the dining room and a beautiful sun terrace with a mountain panorama. What more could you want?? Oh, and you can also stay overnight 😉. After the old hut was demolished because of slipping and the new hut was built, you can have a wonderful meal here again. Great and friendly waitstaff. Delicious food at humane prices.

A very nice mountain hiking experience in every season with a view of the Dachstein summit cross and Johann via ferrata & summit cross. The summit cross on the Dachsteinwarte can be reached in just a few steps.

The Brandalm is a great hut to stop off at. -There is a great charging station for all common motors and batteries with lock and stand !!!! - Very, very nice hosts -A children's play area if on e.g. who has kids with. -Various access possibilities with different degrees of difficulty -Delicious meal -good price-performance ratio -dreamy view

The Almenrundweg below the Dachstein is a real must. Lots of beautiful alpine pastures, little mountain churches, views of the valley, etc.

Right next to the hut there is the entrance to the SINABELL via ferrata (Cat. C) and the hut is beautifully centrally located in the middle of the great Ramsau stage

Great location in the valley basin, perfect as a starting point for the queen's stage and for strengthening between 3 different via ferrata (Rosina and Hias in the gorge and Siega behind the hut) - super tasty pastries!

The Austriahütte offers good opportunities for hikes and tours around the Dachstein in summer and winter. As the starting point for the Dachstein hut tour as well as many ski tours and snowshoe hikes, it is a real base camp on the Dachstein in the style of a well-tended accommodation for nature lovers. The Silberkarhütte (1,250 m) is located in the Dachstein Mountains above the Silberkarklamm. It can be reached quickly from Schladming in Styria on a beautiful path through the gorge. From the Silberkarklamm parking lot you walk into the gorge. The scenery is really impressive. The trail leads through the wild gorge with its vertical walls and thundering water, through the gorge and up to the Silberkarhütte (1,250 m). https://www.bergwelten.com/t/w/26315
