A tough climb, not suitable for everyone. But you will be rewarded for it. The beautiful mountain lake offers a wonderful view before you set off on the last stretch to the Landsberger Hut.

Beautiful and well-maintained hut with a very friendly team. The prices are relatively cheap for a mountain hut and the food is very good (apple strudel is recommended). If you have problems with your hiking boots, you can get uncomplicated help here!

The Landsberger Hut (1810 m above sea level) is a first category mountain hut of the Landsberg am Lech section of the German Alpine Association in the Tannheimer Valley. It was built in 1929 and expanded in 1966. The Landsberger Hut is open from May 30th to mid-October. The hut offers 170 mattress dormitories, 30 beds and 16 winter dormitories while the hut is closed.
