The current image of the late historicist, old German town hall largely corresponds to that of the last stage of construction; the south wing of the building is dated 1889, the main wing 1893. The Thalersee is an artificial lake not far from the Styrian capital of Graz. It is a popular excursion destination: you can paddle here in summer and put on your ice skates in winter. There is also a restaurant right on the lake shore for a relaxing break with the best view of the water.
