A very good restaurant with affordable food, set menus, delicious pastries, and a cozy garden with a small chapel. It's best to reserve a table by phone, even during the week. Closed on Wednesdays.

Beautiful view of the Ötscher, Scheiblingstein and Dürrenstein not far from the Hochkogel summit. There is a beautiful circular hike from Schieflau as a starting point with over 500 m altitude. Most sun-hungry hikers escape the fog and take the starting point from the Panoramastüberl.
