The Heß Hut is named after the Gesäuse pioneer Heinrich Hess. It was expanded and modernized in 1996. The cozy hut atmosphere was nevertheless preserved.

Very good food at reasonable prices and very friendly service, great view of the Gesäuse mountains from the terrace and room window.

Berger Hube has been family-owned since 1924 and is located at an altitude of 1,198 m Managed alpine hut with traditional home cooking. 4 rooms Room storage for 5 people Room storage for 10 people There are also motorhome parking spaces here. Paid parking lot - great hiking opportunities

definitely visit! Dear hut hosts - excellent food - fantastic views of Reichenstein, Ödstein, Hochtor and Planspitze!

The Heßhütte is beautifully situated, offers wonderful views and a sensational home-brewed beer (€6 is not a small amount, but it's worth it!)

You can also take a nice round trip from the parking lot in Kaiserau via the Klinke Hütte to the Mödlinger Hütte and back
