I cannot recommend enough Cabana Suru. Good food, lovely people. A few useful info: - there are several rooms with 7+ beds - running water and toilets available inside - shower available for a fee - weak GSM signal in the area, it depends on your carrier - make sure you have cash on you

I was there on a Saturday, and the grill was in full swing. I especially recommend the traditional grilled bulz. It's a polenta ball filled with burduf cheese.

Lots of comments about other things... Here at the Cabana Caraiman, you can get hot soup, cold drinks, and snacks, and the interior is nicely heated.

Anyone who stops here can look forward to personal hospitality. During the week, it's best to bring provisions, as the restaurant isn't always open.
