The old customs bridge in Rheinau is not only important for drivers, cyclists and pedestrians, it is also a great diving spot with often very good visibility. The dive site and the Rhine are particularly suitable for night dives; countless fish come out of their hiding places and cavort in the canyons and undercuts in the Rhine.

The Rheinau Bridge between Rheinau and Altenburg was first mentioned in a papal letter from 1247.

A truly impressive waterfall! 🌊👍 There are many different viewpoints and vantage points – absolutely breathtaking! 🙂 We had rather chilly, rainy weather in May 2023, but luckily we had excellent weatherproof clothing. 🙃 It was a fantastic experience at the start of our 2023 Rhine cycling tour! 👌

On the rock trip No. 1 Yellow Line you can experience the Rhine Falls from a unique perspective. The ship takes you to the heart of the Rhine Falls, the mighty central rock. During a 20-minute stop there you have the opportunity to climb the more than 100 steps to the 30-meter-high viewing platform. The climb is worth it, once you reach the top you are rewarded with a unique 360-degree view of the Rhine Falls. On the return trip to the harbor there is another incomparable photo backdrop!
