almost 400 years old historically valuable chapel with wayside shrine and summit book 1810m

The Stolzalpe is one of the climatically particularly favorable regions in Styria. From the LKH Murtal, an easy to moderately difficult hiking trail leads mainly through forests to the summit. Again and again you have a wonderful view of the valleys in between. The summit itself is marked with a simple summit cross. However, the summit book with the stamp is not by the cross, but in the chapel about 5 minutes' walk below the summit.

The summit book is not at the summit cross, but at the Stolzalpe chapel about 5 minutes' walk below the summit.

The small wooden Stolzalpe chapel with a sandstone cross is just below the Stolzalpe summit (1817 m above sea level) and is definitely worth seeing! Here is also the summit book of the Stolzalpe.
