Magnificent views of the Eibsee

A visit to the Partnach Gorge is definitely worth it. Warning: could get wet :-)

This is where the best pictures at the Eibsee are made. Especially at sunrise you have the possibility of a perfect reflection in the water, the Zugspitze in the background and the Sasseninsel in the water.

Also very nice in winter. The path is prepared for a winter hike and is very easy to walk. There is plenty of seating along the lake with great views and lots of rubbish bins.

A great destination for families in summer and especially in autumn. The paths are easy to walk and well developed - in summer you can swim, in autumn you can enjoy the colorful foliage. It can be busy, the Eibsee is a well-known destination.

The Partnach Gorge is approximately 700 meters long, with walls rising up to 80 meters. Through tunnels and passages blasted into the rock, it is accessible even in winter, with the bizarre ice formations adding a special charm to this natural beauty. You can cross the gorge over an iron bridge built in 1914, 68 meters above the river. It connects the Hausberg area with the Wamberg. Every year, the Partnach Gorge welcomes over 350,000 visitors.
