"Eppelsheim's main streets converge at the Römer. The bus stop with limestone shelters, as well as a basalt fountain with plants and a bench, invite you to linger. Shops for daily needs are located in the immediate vicinity." The Ur-Rhein-Elefant, created by Gernot Rumpf in 2022, refers to the tusked elephant (Dinotherium). In 1985, he also created the Rossmarkt fountain in Alzey.

Resting areas have also been set up in 2 of the open wooden sheds in this area. Unfortunately, the area is in a poor state due to a number of vandals.
