The Parapluiberg summit (561 m) is a quiet, wooded peak where you can catch your breath after the final climb. Nearby, benches and small clearings invite you to take a short break in nature. An unassuming yet atmospheric highlight on your hikes around Kaltenleutgeben and Perchtoldsdorf.

The hut belongs to the Nature Friends and is normally open from Thursday to Sunday – but with a bit of luck, you can also get a cool drink outside of these times.

The Höllensteinhaus is located at 645 meters in the Vienna Woods near Kaltenleutgeben and is a popular destination for hikers. From the terrace of the Franz Ferdinand Refuge you can enjoy a wonderful view of large parts of the federal capital Vienna!

The Schöpfl-Schutzhaus has been run by Auguste Rosenberger since January 2024. It is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, but is open from sunrise to sunset on all other days. Guests can look forward to a cozy atmosphere and a good selection of food.

The view of Vienna from here is breathtaking and invites you to linger. The hut offers a cozy place to stop for a good snack, a sunny terrace and even a punch hut in winter. Surrounded by the idyllic nature of the Föhrenberge Nature Park, this place is a perfect destination for hikers, cyclists and those seeking relaxation.

Despite the large number of visitors at Schöpfl - Whit Monday is always a mountain service, so you can make a note of that - we didn't have to wait particularly long for our food. The team around Gusti and Paul works very well together and the food tasted excellent.
