Mountain with a hunter's seat – the climb is not without danger, as the ladder is already badly damaged. There are no signs. But the view of the beautiful landscape is worthwhile.

Many beautiful rock formations on the Stierberg invite you to wander around and take a rest.

Neither the name nor any documentary evidence has survived of this castle complex, located on the so-called “Burgleiten”. It was probably built towards the end of the 12th century. The desert name "Siebenberg" and abandoned fields in the area indicate that there was a center (dominion) of a clearing area here. In a document from 1389 a "vest ze Chirichpach, located near Zwetl" is mentioned. However, the end of the castle is uncertain. It was either abandoned in the 13th or 14th century or it is assumed that this complex was inhabited until the Thirty Years' War and was razed to the ground by the Swedes. Next to the small cistern there is an inscription in the rock with the year 1684. However, it has not yet been satisfactorily interpreted.

The way to the power place is unfortunately not well signposted. At the junction after the road, turn right into the forest, right at the first opportunity and left at the rocks via the dirt track

On the summit of the 879 meter high Zollberg lie massive granite blocks, between which small caves have formed. A nice destination for a hike and also the long-distance hiking trail "Eisenwurzenweg" passes here.

The Stierberg is confirmed as a strong place of strength and is considered a symbol of fertility. The bull is a fertility god of the Celtic Boier. There is a Celtic tribe in Central Europe who lived in the Bavarian Forest, South Bohemia, Mühl and Waldviertel. This place was also used as a place of escape during wars and as a signal point. Beautiful all-round view and beautiful view, therefore both parts of Burgleiten "climb".

The Hohe Stein am Kamp is an interesting hiking destination. This one can climb, the existing iron is well anchored, the high stone is 100 m higher than the Kamp - top there is then the Gipfelkeuz with sky view 😊.
