The Penkkopf is a fantastic mountain tour with fantastic views in all directions. I would highly recommend it. From Kleinarl, expect the walk there and back to take around 5 hours.

Not really a summit, but there is a summit cross and great views. The Draugsteintörl is definitely worth a detour, for example when climbing up or descending from the Tappenkarseehütte.

Beautiful to walk/run in good weather, when it rains the trails become small streams> slippery> sure-footedness required, walk with poles if possible

From the summit you have a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. Just lovely! A wooden seating platform at the summit cross invites you to linger and enjoy.

With a bit of fitness, the Penkkopf can be easily reached from the Kleinarler Hut via hiking trail 712, even in winter. The all-round view of the snow-covered peaks rewards the effort.
