The largest hut of the German Alpine Club gave us a very hospitable welcome. The accommodation and food are great!

The Rappensee is the southernmost lake in Germany. It is about 240 meters long and 150 meters wide. If you don't mind the low water temperature of a maximum of 14 degrees, you can also swim in the lake during the day and refresh yourself from the exertions of the climb 💦

The Rappenseehütte is one of the largest DAV huts in the area. The view of the surrounding peaks is definitely worth it. Depending on how you want to climb, you can enjoy attractive peaks with wonderful climbing and hiking passages.
