The Hochleckenhaus is worth a visit at any time of the year. The view is simply sensational.

The Feuerkogel is a 1592 m above sea level. A. high mountain west of Ebensee on the Traunsee in Upper Austria. It forms the eastern end of the Höllengebirge between Attersee and Traunsee and towers over the southern shore of Lake Traunsee.

Great first summit with a view over the Attersee and the Mondsee. The ascent is a bit tedious and takes longer than the 2km would suggest. The ascent also includes a short via ferrata unit, which is rewarded with an incredible panorama over the Attersee region. You should also bring sure-footedness with you, as it includes some rock and root sections.

A great mountain hike with a great view of the surrounding lakes but unfortunately also very crowded. You can't really enjoy the view from the summit with about 80 other people on this relatively small summit cross plateau.
