오늘날의 요하네스베르크인 오딘슈타인은 고대의 신성한 장소입니다. 요하네스베르크 예배당 건립 시기는 불확실하며, 문서상으로는 1356년에 처음 언급됩니다. 16세기부터 이 예배당은 세례자 성 요한에게 헌정되었습니다. 그 카르펠베르크 제단은 네덜란드 매너리즘 화가의 볼 만한 그림으로 장식되어 있습니다. 요하네스베르크의 남쪽 벽에는 지역 전쟁 기념물이 조각되어 있는데, 이는 1964-1966년에 요제프 모저 학술 조각가가 두 차례의 세계 대전 희생자들을 기리기 위해 만든 것입니다.

Recommended in combination with the small Sonnstein, but not on its own, as the view is only possible from the very front at the edge and the view from the small Sonnstein is much nicer and there is more to see from there.

To avoid the boring path along the main road (Traunkirchen-Ebensee), we recommend the old mountain path. This leads from the kl. Sonnstein (h 520m) to the center of Traunkirchen.
