Years ago I went on a hiking holiday with my daughter in Grossartal and then we are here on this mountain. A few music groups were on the road with us as part of a music festival. A heavy storm was approaching us on the mountain from afar and we all sought shelter in the hut. With the music in the hut we still had a great atmosphere until the storm was over. We will never forget that when we raged through the huts in a polonaise.

There is a wonderful view of the Gastein mountains and the Hohe Tauern to Sonnblick, Schareck and Ankogel as well as Dachstein and Hochkönig in the distance. Directly behind the summit cross is the end of the insured Mauskarspitzen via ferrata.

A 3000m peak that can be climbed without much equipment. We started the trail from the top station of the gondola. Unfortunately, the way over the last Kees was not recognizable. We had to find a way around it. But that was doable. (We were upstairs when it rained). Drinking is very important. Some provisions are not absolutely necessary, but they are not wrong either. I didn't see spring water, maybe because of the fog^^, only Kees/glacier water

Beautiful view of the surrounding mountains (easy to reach with an easy hike from the Fulseckbahn). Suitable for families.

Wonderful all-round view (also beautiful without a summit cross). Ascent via the direct route via Tischkogel without great difficulty, two places have a short safety rope, but little exposure. The path in the direction of the Miesbichlscharte is more exposed for about 15 meters and has rope insurance, but is easy to manage without fear of heights.
