The Seethalerhütte on the Dachstein is located at 2,740 m, making it the highest mountain hut in Upper Austria. Surrounded by the eternal ice of the Dachstein glacier, the hut is located in a breathtaking setting and offers a wonderful view of the mountains all the way to the Großglockner. From the hut you have a wonderful view

A beautiful managed hut at the end of the gorge. Here you have the option of hiking back via ferratas or the high-altitude trail.

The first hut was built on this site in 1929 and managed by Sepp Seethaler for 50 years. The new hut, planned by Dreiplus Architekten from Innsbruck, was opened at the end of 2018.

As the starting point of the Dachsteinhütten tour, the Austriahütte is a real base camp on the Dachstein in the style of well-kept accommodation for nature lovers.

The Brandalm is picturesquely situated at 1,600 m above sea level in the middle of the Ramsau Alm area at the foot of the Dachstein.

After the old hut was demolished because of slipping and the new hut was built, you can have a wonderful meal here again. Great and friendly waitstaff. Delicious food at humane prices.
