The Salvensee is located south of the Hohe Salve at 1575 m. In winter it supplies the water for snowmaking on the ski slopes. In summer you can take a break here during a tour and enjoy the panorama.

The reservoir has a capacity of 135,000 m3 and is 14 m deep at its deepest point.

On the southern slope below the Hohe Salve, surrounded by alpine meadows, lies the Hohe Salve reservoir. It's a true gem, with loungers, benches, and a water playground for children. From here, you can enjoy a fantastic view, as long as you don't wander into the clouds.

Very nice rustic Alm great location

The rustic alpine hut towers at 1300 meters at the foot of the "Hohe Salve" and directly on the idyllic Filzalmsee. The Filzalm is the oldest serviced alpine hut in the Wilder Kaiser-Brixental mountain world and was newly renovated in spring 2017.
