🚰 🌳 The Ahlintel waterworks (Ahlintel 11b, 48282 Emsdetten) is an important site for the regional drinking water supply and an interesting point of interest in the Ahlintel farming community. The plant is operated by the Steinfurt municipal utilities. The surrounding water protection area ensures that high-quality groundwater can be extracted and treated here.

Built through their own efforts: The church was built between 1946 and 1948. What makes it special: ⛪The people of Ahlintel built it almost single-handedly, with great personal, financial, and material commitment. Since building materials were scarce in the post-war period, they often traded bacon and sausage to obtain bricks and stones.
