Very beautiful, well-kept Hubertus Chapel, which has a wonderful carving (!). There is a beautiful view at the top. Definitely worth a stop.

It is truly a beautiful feeling when you step out of the forest onto the meadow. Suddenly the view opens up, not only of Emmersdorf, but also of Melk. At this point you know why you are willing to endure the strain of a long walk.

The church towers majestically above the town. From here you have a great view over the Danube to Melk.

You don't see such towers very often. But they seem to be typical for this area, as you can find such towers in several towns between Aggsbach Markt and Emmersdorf.

The Roman Catholic parish church of Emmersdorf is elevated and dominates the district of Hofamt in the market town of Emmersdorf an der Donau. In the 13th century the church was probably a vicariate and a branch of Weiten. A parish was mentioned in a document in 1336.
