The Hausbachfall in Reit im Winkl is an impressive waterfall located in the middle of an idyllic gorge on the edge of the town center. Reit im Winkl's waterfall, the Hausbachfall, is a small landmark of the town. The Hausbach stream rushes down the Hausberg mountain in the north, very close to the town center. Especially after heavy rainfall, enormous masses of water rush down through the gorge. In hot, dry summers, however, it is sometimes barely visible.
