The idyllic Pflegersee is not far from Garmisch-Partenkirchen. With a view of the Königsstand mountain range, you can swim here or stop off at the nearby mountain inn.

Great view of the foothills of the Alps, the lakes and the Alps... not nearly as busy as on the Herzogstand 🤩 Super nice rustic hut.

The Bavarian Caribbean, it is best to visit when the sun is shining. Then the water in Walchensee is as turquoise as in the Caribbean. The circular cycle path of about 26km is then a mega great experience. The most beautiful beaches can be found on the toll road (free of charge for cyclists). A little paradise in the middle of Bavaria
