You can get a direct view of Lake Chiemsee while riding the gondola. But as soon as you start walking, the view of Lake Chiemsee with the rocks at the top of the Kampenwand is impressive. When the weather is nice you can see very far! You have the feeling that you can see all over Germany, the view is so vast.

If you walk down the mountain, you soon no longer have any hills in front of you and can admire the entire Chiemsee

The Lödensee, the Mittersee and the Weitsee are one of the most beautiful lake landscapes in the Chiemgau. The changing of the seasons is particularly impressive here. Locals affectionately call it "Little Canada".

In summer, when there is less water in the lake, it is particularly worthwhile to use the path located a little below the main path, because then you are very close to the water and could also go swimming if you wish (the lake is not quite of drinking water quality ).
