The nature reserve is located on the eastern edge of Unna. To the north it extends to the city limits of Kamen. The Hamm-Unna railway line runs through the middle of the area from north to south. Beautiful nature reserve. From here you can also get to the Alleenradweg, an old railway line, from Unna to Welver.

In the Uelzener Heide nature reserve there is the largest plane tree in North Rhine-Westphalia and the remains of the Heyde house. Always worth a walk.

The witch pond is small with lots of water lilies. There are very beautiful hiking trails through gorges, but also open paths with a view! There is seating along the hiking trail and tree sculptures to admire. When you go back over the bridge, besides fish, you can also see turtles basking in the sun.

An idyllic place, a small circular route with works of art and with luck you can see the turtles, which someone has probably implemented here.
