The castle was built in 1534 by the patrician Sebastian Cammerer. In 1815 Johann Kielkalt from Nuremberg bought it and set it up as a restaurant. It is right at the entrance to the town and cannot be missed. https://hallerschloesschen.de/

It's always worth running! A beautiful old town or a large market square invites you to linger, eat ice cream or go shopping. It is most beautiful on the Pegnitz, here I recommend a detour to the Laufer Kaiserburg.

Well-preserved castle on a dolomite rock, probably from the second half of the 11th century. From the landmark of the Frankenalb (also the highest point at 634 m above sea level) you have a wide panoramic view that extends to the Fichtelgebirge on a clear day. The castle is open from March to November on Sundays and public holidays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
