A beautiful lake to admire from the idyllic bridge. Please note that if you continue along the route, you may cross the German border. If you want to keep track of statistics, make sure roaming is enabled.

It is a gravel pit lake and is fenced in, but it is still very beautiful to look at.

Very nice concrete cycle path, past many small lakes, some of which were created by gravel extraction.

A beautiful piece of nature

Quite nice along the water, has potential for more recreational activities. Our neighbors in the Netherlands can do better; just take a look and reinvest some of the "dredging profits."

"We leave the "Voetveer bij Persingen" to our right, smilingly recalling our first encounter with the associated crank, briefly turn away from the water toward Persingen, and then walk along the water again, partly over meadow paths, to the Wylerbergmeer, where the "Bench die Abends" awaits us. The bench is slightly elevated in front of the body of water, which rests before us in the blue hour, barely the size of a sea. Far away, a person is juggling with fire, otherwise silence. A wonderful time."
