The tower is nicknamed "Mehlsack" (flour sack) because of its white paint. From the top, there's a fantastic view 👀 of Lake Constance, the Salem Valley, and the Linzgau region, and on a clear day, you can even see the Alps. There's also a free panoramic telescope that displays the names of the visible mountains.

From the benches on the edge of the slope at the playground in Hohenbodman you have a fantastic view of the Salem Valley including Lake Constance and of course the Hohenbodman observation tower directly opposite.

The Kirnberg is 633 meters high, the "summit" is in the middle of the forest. Instead of a magnificent view, you will find one thing above all here: peace and quiet.
