Arrival and accessibility The HohneHof nature adventure center is about a 15-minute walk from the car park or train station in Drei Annen Hohne. From May to October, the natural gas bus "Der Ilsetaler" (HVB, line 274) will also take you directly to the HohneHof. The HohneHof is largely wheelchair-accessible in the outdoor area and completely wheelchair-accessible on the 1st floor indoors. The charcoal burner, located on the federal highway 81 between Blankenburg and Hasselfelde, is one of the few craft businesses of this kind still in operation in Germany. Anyone who approaches the Harzköhlerei Stemberghaus (500 m above sea level) can smell the aromatic smoke of the charcoal pile in their nose from a distance. In addition to the charcoal burner, there is a rustic, Harz-typical gastronomy in the "Köhlerhütte".
