The small Raab Gorge is the habitat of many rare species. These include, for example, dippers and yellow-bellied toads. For the latter there is a specially created spawning ground, in the vicinity of which one should move cautiously, especially during the spawning season in spring. The gorge is particularly beautiful when it is full of vegetation in spring and summer.

In this area there are many chapels and wayside crosses to rest and pause. The Zornkapelle on the Römerstraße is a particularly beautiful example.

Very nice hiking trail - the path along the Raab is wide and easy to walk. If you like, you can now and then make a detour over the heights along the gorge.

In addition to the possibility of crossing the Raab, there is also a parking lot for hikers and a bus stop.

The path through the Kleine Raabklamm is not only a highlight for adults, but also for children. On the easily accessible paths, they can let off steam and play on small sandbanks in the water of the Raab.
