Christ status can be reached in about one and a half hours

For a brief rest at the TRERENBACH CROSS, a brief thought from Pope Francis might be helpful. During the traditional Stations of the Cross prayer with the Holy Father on Good Friday 2024 in the Colosseum in Rome, he posed the question: "Where are we on Golgotha? Beneath the cross? With some distance? Far away? Or perhaps, like the apostles, we are no longer there." A key feature of the "Cristo Rei" depictions - which this statue will inevitably remind every viewer of - is that Jesus is not shown on the cross or as the crucified one (although the outstretched arms suggest this from a distance), but Christ is the king, the victor over sin and death, who has overcome all the suffering in the world. It is the outstretched arms of the lovingly drawing Christ with which he embraces the land and the people living in it in blessing.
