Small highlight on the ascent/descent through the forest.

I made the climb at 5am with 15cm of fresh snow, the hiking trail is very well signposted but also challenging, I think it doesn't matter whether there is snow or not, it goes over steps and a small stream. From the bridge in front of the waterfall you have a great view of it. On one side of the bridge you can get to the waterfall basin.

From 694 m above sea level the water roars down, the path does not continue, you have to go back a bit about 90 m, then the path continues to the Hefter Alm

A beautiful waterfall that you can swim in. It's worth going there early in the morning in summer when it's quieter... 😉
